BESTIARY & FLORA

Beyond the cities and strongholds of Erebos lies a world shaped by forces as ancient and dangerous as its people. From predators stalking the Grimwood to creatures whispered of only in legend, the beasts of Erebos are as strange, brutal and unpredictable as the realm that gave them life.

The BALADDIN

The Nightmare Children Know by Name

For generations, children of Erebos have been warned of the Baladdin—a creature said to stalk the darkness, hunting those foolish enough to wander beyond the safety of home. Its name survives in an old children's rhyme promising blood, bone, and something waiting just beyond the edge of sight.

Most grow old enough to dismiss the Baladdin as a story invented by frightened parents.

They are wrong.

THREE MERCIES

The Tormentors of DeBeaux

The Three Mercies are no whispered legend. Among the most feared instruments of House DeBeaux, the creatures are unleashed upon those for whom death alone is considered insufficient punishment.

Their horrors have become so infamous that a rhyme describing their work is said to be scrawled upon the walls of DeBeaux's dungeons—three verses for three Mercies, each promising a different torment to those unfortunate enough to meet them.

Few who hear the rhyme ever live to repeat it.

RIPNASH

Wild Hounds of Erebos

Savage pack predators native to the wilds of Erebos, Ripnash are built for pursuit—fast, relentless, and vicious enough to bring down prey far larger than themselves. Once a pack has chosen its quarry, escape is rarely a matter of outrunning them.

Their ferocity has also made them prized by those cruel enough to capture them, turning a creature already feared in the wild into something far more deliberate.

DREADTUSK

Apex Predator of the Grimwood

Few creatures command the Grimwood like the Dreadtusk. Massive, territorial, and ferociously powerful, it stands near the top of the forest's natural hierarchy—a predator with little reason to fear anything that crosses its path.

Even among the deadly creatures of the Grimwood, encountering a Dreadtusk is considered a test of survival.

Most creatures run from the dangers of the Grimwood. The Dreadtusk is one of the reasons why.
