THE HOODED ONE
A silent enigma who stalks the ruins of the empire. Appearing and disappearing at will, they seem to be watching Sunset's every move, though their true intentions remain hidden behind a veil of ancient shadows.
K'MILLAH
Queen K'Millah Gamal, the Mother Regent of House Gamal. The strongest and most just ruler her people had ever known. She had such high hopes for her daughter, Sunset. Especially knowing the secret of the power that lay within her. Sadly, she did not survive the treacherous attack by House deBeaux.
CAPTAIN DYN
Overseer of the DeBeaux Guard. Bloodthirtsy and cruel as they come, Dyn is a shrewd warrior and leader who will stop at nothing to serve his House.
PI-JOU
Daughter to Madame DeBeaux, sister to Sarik. The spoiled but neglected wild child, yearning for attention and performing increasingly worse behavior to attract it.
RISTOS
Captain of the Onari Guard. Current leader of a kind, just and extremely deadly fighting force. His brief interlude in transporting Sunset and her entourage alludes to a greater role in the future.
DVYNN
The Onari archer. Savior of An Bal when she escaped the destruction of House Gamal.He only has a brief interlude in the story but is a steadfast and noble character who will appear in future lore.
DEIA
Overseer of Eliyah. The Onari society is set up so as each citizen passes their Knowledge Tiers, they move up through the ranks of leadership, Committee, Higher Board, Tribunal Elders and eventually Overseer. So there is a yearly rotation of leadership in the society. Deia's term was extended as she was presiding during the War of Terminus, a devastating conflict with an out-of -control AI entity. She is known as the most wise and caring elder and is revered among all the Onari.
