Chateau Hautaine- House DeBeaux
Rising above the dark waters and tangled wilderness of the Grimwood, Chateau Hautaine is the imposing seat of House DeBeaux. Behind its elegant walls lie political intrigue, forbidden experiments, and secrets carefully guarded by the family that rules from within.
For Sunset, however, the Chateau is something far more personal: the only home she can remember—and the prison from which she must escape.
Per AKHET (House Of SUNSET)
Once the magnificent seat of House Gamal, Per Akhet was a center of learning, culture, and prosperity under the rule of Queen K'Millah. Its halls were the birthplace of a young Sunset—and the home of a childhood she can no longer remember.
Now little remains of the kingdom she was meant to inherit. Destroyed in the attack that shattered House Gamal, Per Akhet stands as both a monument to what was lost and a haunting reminder of the life stolen from her.
The Grimwood
Sprawling across the heart of Erebos, the Grimwood is an ancient wilderness of twisted forests, deadly flora, and creatures that have learned to thrive where few others dare to venture. To cross it is to enter a world where beauty and terror often grow side by side.
But the Grimwood conceals more than monsters. Beneath its tangled canopy lie forgotten ruins, hidden paths, and secrets suggesting that some of Erebos' greatest wonders have survived precisely because the forest has kept them hidden.
Eliyah
Hidden deep within the Grimwood lies Eliyah, a technological marvel seemingly impossible amid the savage wilderness surrounding it. Home to the Onari, the city has survived in secrecy while much of Erebos beyond its borders has fallen into violence, ruin, and decay.
But Eliyah's isolation was born from more than survival. Its people carry the scars of a devastating conflict with Terminus, the artificial intelligence they once created, leaving behind a society where extraordinary technological achievement exists alongside a profound understanding of what can happen when progress exceeds wisdom.
The Nix
Beneath Erebos lies the Nix—a realm feared even by those who know little of what truly exists within it. Ancient, hostile, and seemingly without end, it is a place where the boundaries between physical reality and something far older become dangerously thin.
The Nix is believed to be intertwined with the strange energies that flow through Erebos itself, drawing mystics, scholars, and the dangerously curious toward mysteries few fully understand. But whatever power exists below comes at a price. Things inhabit those depths that were never meant to walk beneath an open sky—and some have been waiting a very long time to find their way out.
The Parthenon
Among all the ancient monuments of Earth, the Parthenon seems an unlikely place to hold a secret connected to the distant world of Erebos. Yet beneath centuries of human history lies evidence that the two worlds may have touched long before Sunset ever knew either existed.
What the people of ancient Athens witnessed became something they could understand only through the language of gods, legends, and myth. Whether those stories were inspired by the divine—or by visitors from somewhere humanity could never have imagined—may depend entirely on which world is telling the story.
